Precision Screw Thread is a contract manufacturer that specializes in precision grinding and roll threading. Our core competency in our power transmission/linear motion business is producing actuator screws, lead screws, worm shafts, and ball screws.

MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES
Precision Screw Thread Corporation specializes in thread rolling solutions and services. Precision Screw Thread provides close tolerance thread rolling from .059 inches to 8.0 inches diameter and cut to customer’s required length.
Precision Screw Thread Corporation also does precision CNC thread grinding and secondary operations. Our capabilities include:
- Centerless grinding up to 13″ diameter
- Inside and Outside Diameter grinding up to 14″ diameter
- Thread rolling up to 6-1/4″ diameter on long bars and up to 12″ diameter for shorter applications
- Thread grinding up to 12″ diameter and 42″ length

We have two 5 ton overhead cranes to handle any oversize project. Our die room has nearly 1500 die sets for a full range of rolled thread projects. These on-hand die sets greatly reduce the likelihood of the need to purchase die sets or wait for them to be manufactured.

COMMON MATERIALS
Most wrought materials used in manufactured parts can be thread rolled. Steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, high nickel content materials and exotic metals can be thread rolled. Hardness as high as Rockwell C50 have been successfully rolled on our equipment. The best properties for thread rolling are indicated by a fairly wide spread between the ultimate strength and the yield strength of the material.
